"YOU HAVE TO GET LOST BEFORE YOU CAN BE FOUND."

    Dear Mrs.Paul,

All of the pieces I've included in this website are the ones that I personally like the most, it's all the pieces that I've taken pride in.

I included the Short Horror story piece because it was one of my first horror stories that I've wrote and I took a lot of pride in it. I didn't want to go on a traditional route for a horror story, I wanted to change it up and create it into something that not everyone would be doing.I put in another short story that has a sense of humor to it to contrast the horror story that I wrote. The piece includes a bunch of kids that are stuck in a classic horror movie story. I didn't fully write this one myself entirely but it was added onto by other students in the class but I did change a few things throughout it to make it more coherent.

Another piece I put in was an updated piece from our writers notebook, where it includes where someone would be able to find me if they are in need or need some help. I included it because it was one of my favorite writings from the notebook. While writing this I was thinking along the lines of where I usually am and what I'm usually doing most of the time. I based it off of where I would love to be or where I love to go most of the time.

I included another piece called Seabreeze Time where I described my time here at Seabreeze. I included this because I really like writing about my times here, it's nice to look back upon everything that has happened. While writing this I looked back upon the time and all the experiences I've had to show what I've experienced.

The next few writings that I've posted are poems, many of them based off of situations that I've been in or just some creative ones that I've really liked out of all the things that I've written over this past year. The first poem on the website is Solider, which is the new piece. The solider focuses around a solider who was deployed into war and sadly didn't make it back to his family. The idea behind writing this was to create a piece that many families who have someone in service could relate to or families who have had people in service.

The next poem is the Influential poem. The poem focuses on the few teachers who have pushed me to go further and to believe in myself more, it mainly was inspired by some of the teachers here at Seabreeze who have helped me realize my full potential. The poem called Seabreeze time is in relation to the school as well, it goes through everything about the school. When writing this I was thinking about all the times that I've sat outside and watched everything go on. How even though we may not notice it we are a giant family.

The poem not everything stays is about some people that leave and take a piece of you. When I was writing this, I was thinking about a particular time in my life where it seemed that the person just kept taking a piece of me until I realized that I need to stop them. The poem For A Moment is also very based on a time in my life where the person tried to come back, which is what happens in the poem. The guy in the poem tries to come back but in the end he's turned down and is told to leave. The very last poem on this website is the Five Years Later poem, this poem is based on all that I hope to achieve in the future. When writing this I was thinking about what I want to achieve now and what I hope I achieve in the future.

My creative writing experience is truly one of a kind and one that I will never forget, by far one of my favorite high school classes. Throughout this journey in creative writing it has pushed me into the comfort zone of being able to publicly speak. It was a great experience, I wrote many things that I loved and many that I didn't necceasirly like but it taught me that writing can be fun. I'll never forget all the invitations to write we've wrote and all the laughs we've all shared together. This has by far been the best class ever.
